I'm looking for recommendations of pubs in close proximity to Piccadilly Circus. Should I look in a different place or are there pubs you would advocate nearby?

The Lyric on Great Windmill Street, sells all independent beers/ciders, fantastic cheap food, also can stand outside on a nice day like this.

How near? There's a fantastic one (whose name escapes me just now) on the right connecting Covent Garden tube with Covent Garden itself.
