Namely, I would like to find clubs, if possible someplace near east London, that play alternative dance music like !!! and LCD Soundsystem, and/or French electronica and synth-pop, like Justice, Madeon, etc.

I tried looking online but a large amount of them tend to have club anthems or electronica-wannabes. Any assistance would be appreciated!

In general you'll find that those genres are relatively specialist these days, as they are sort if what was trendy 5 years ago, and trends come and go, not considering of the excellence or lack thereof.

At the moment, the modern profit-making take on deep house is beyond doubt the new hot thing in clubs. although you will find it from time to time - look in resident advisor listings, do a bit of probing around Facebook groups and events, perhaps go on the erol Alkan forum to ask.

In terms of offered nights, durrr might be in the ball park. I saw erol and xavier from justice b2b there in the summer.

absolutely get onto www.residentadvisor.net. i can't actually help on any exact venues that do recurring nights, but you can use that site to find parties you like the look of. at least this way you'll try a load of new venues.

Keep an eye out for gigs. I've seen parov stelar and caravan palace in London this year, I think they come over at least semi-regularly.
