hey guys, i used to do a little charitable work before like teaching kids, homeless shelter, soup kitchen. i really enjoy helping folks and since i'm blessed enough not to need a paying job and have a lot of time on my hands, giving back to the population sounds appropriate.
so do you guys know of any projects that stole your heart or that you know want a helping hand? cheers
Not any I've done myself, but I know the Metro continually has some listed in the back! Might be a good start :confident:
Are you purposely after supporting homelessness?
try Samaritans- they're permanently looking for listeners otherwise if you're looking to volunteer try this:

FoodCycle! Food that would have otherwise gone to a garbage dump is cooked and served by volunteers to bestow a free hot meal every Friday for anybody who wants it.

What about St Martin's Day Centre for down-and-out people, its right in the center of it in Trafalgar Sq. They constantly could use volunteers when I worked there.
