Why do you feel its good?

Because, unlike much other graffiti, Banksy is monotonous bilge. You know how adverts are crap? Banksy's crap similar to that.

So since you don't like it something that brings joy to many in the locale deserves to be removed then sold?

Something freely given to the community should be taken then made private? Something that will make other publicly minded artists think twice before brightening up depressing high streets is a good thing?

How would an area like brick lane be devoid of the street art?

Oh the outrage. Yes, I'm sure that graffiti artists will be genuinely put off by this. It's not like they're persistent, is it?

"Something generously given to the community should be taken and made private?"

Banksy is a low-grade product. Fuck it.

So what if there's belief that Banksy is overrated? It doesn't matter what the perceived significance of the art was between critics. The piece was loved by residents and now going to be on some well-off person's wall where no one can look at it ever again.

This isn't Brick Lane where street artists are a dime a dozen. How many walls in Haringey do you imagine have notable street art pieces on them? Not many is the answer and two pieces are not here now. These were considered gifts to a neighborhood hit fiercely by terrible stereotypes from the riots in 2011. Both this and Slave Labour brought individuals to Haringey. It was a miniature sightseeing boost. One of the reasons given for ripping it off the wall was "it wasn't being respected in situ". How on earth did they identify that? A adjoining cafe was actually making some cash from people coming to spot it.

When locals were asked what they thought the general opinion was that they liked the piece moreover were wondering why it was being taken away. The "damage" caused toward the artwork was all on top of the defending perspex. All it probably required was a scrub or even fresh perspex. The perspex they'd put on it in the first place was wonky anyway.
