As we step out of the summer season into colder weather and darker nights, I wanted to let you all know about VSO’s Christmas Carol Concert which is fast approaching.
This year’s concert is on Thursday 8 December 2016 at the magnificent Central Hall Westminster in London. With dazzling musical from the City of London Choir, led by eminent choirmaster Hilary Davan Wetton, thought provoking readings from our celebrity supporters*, including Bill Nighy and music from around the world the night promises to be unmissable.
Funds raised by hosting events like this concert enable VSO to bring people together to fight poverty. In 2015/2016 alone, VSO was able to reach over 2.1 million people living in poverty across the world by providing people living in the world’s poorest countries with better healthcare, valuable education and access to a more broad range of opportunities to better their livelihoods.
With a range of ticket options from £10 up to £75, group discounts and an option to attend our pre-concert drinks reception, many people use this event as a Christmas outing for their family or social groups.
