Reiterating what you said - fitness4less is the same - permanently rammed, a mess, also hot. I try and go in the mornings as it is quieter, or the weekends. After hours is a joke except you go at like 9:30pm, and it closes at 10.

To put in something - there's a 400m track and a number of pieces of apparatus in Victoria Park - chin up bars, dip bars etc, I see a few folks creating some pretty intense workouts there with sprints plus exercises, and it's free of course.

I guess everyone's just trying to keep the heaviness off to fit into those lean jeans...

Vicky Park...interesting....

If you fancy it, Crossfit London is right by the park, I've been a couple of times, pretty vigorous work!
thanks! not a poor shout - i regularly just run around Weavers' Fields for CV work however crossfit could be a laugh.
Oh, just remembered, I don't know how close it is to you, however Queen Mary uni has a sports club that us mortals can use? And a squash court too (although I've not tried that yet) apparently.
Does it really? that sounds like a good decision - it's not massively local but if it's a uni gym it's apt to be pretty good and may not be that busy! thanks!

Depending on what you're after, I do Lucha Libre wrestling immediately by Bethnal Green. Amazing exercises and fantastic fun to boot!
