The Victoria Inn in Peckham,
Stormbird in Camberwell (loads of beers),
Blythe Hill Tavern in Forest Hill (bit more of a pub),
The Hob in FH (comedy, pool),
Catford Bridge Tavern in Catford
Princess Of Wales in Blackheath (pretty good roast)
If you're wondering regarding that one, it's less gastro pub plus more old fashioned. Racing on the tv's and characters leaning at the bar.

The Old Nun's Head in Nunhead. I used to stay nearby, loved that pub.
The best pubs in Greenwich, IMHO:
The Greenwich Union small pub, youngish crowd, lots of regional & craft beers.
The Trafalgar Tavern largish pub, fantastic history, on the water front.
The Cutty Sark very old, fascinating pub on the waterfront
Richard the First next the Union, older crowd, more traditional.
The Lost Hour vastly low-cost pub, trying to be trendy inside, possibly my most visited.
The Gypsy Moth bit of tourist trap, however nice inside.
The Guildford Arms bit boring within nevertheless lovely beer garden in the back.
Anyone know any near or in the Lewisham area?
