I believe your only choice is to join a gym.
Yeah, unluckily my fitness first membership is one of the first things I've had to cut back on at £50 per month. Can't find any inexpensive gyms that fit the bill.
Check the The Gymn Group maybe?

That looks akin to a good solution, thanks. Only need to use it two times a month to make it cheaper than buying a travelcard for the day.

If you're going into Soho, Easygym is in the Plaza on Oxford Street and is 20 pounds a month, at the second their adverts say that there's no joining fee.

What do you mean by Central London? Join a fitness center chain like Virgin classic and you can go to whichever of their branches.
> What do you mean by Central London?

Probably the same thing that everybody else means by it.

If it's something technical, you could possibly join techhub at Google Campus, there are showers along with additional benefits.

You might try the Oasis Sports Centre on High Holborn. http://www.better.org.uk/leisure/oasis-sports-centre

I can't speak from familiarity or what their rates are like unfortunately, although it looks like it fits the bill in terms of a central location.

Central London isn't specific.

If you're on about old street areas there is Finsbury leisure centre or Ironmonger row baths.
