There is an organised running troupe in Shoreditch. The the gym but good, communal exercise. http://www.rundemcrew.com/
> note we do not run a Tortoise Group at the East London session and we ask all of our runners to be competent to run at smallest amount 5 miles comfortably before joining us. have to work on that first. If I run a mile I'd pack up at the moment.
oh, sorry. Had just heard of it but wasn't aware of the stipulations. Good luck!
Sort of a Catch 22 isn't it. Wants to run, but running unit won't let you join!

Tuesday nights from 2030. Krav Maga self defense lessions at Fitness First in London Bridge. Losing weight at the same time as piercing people with a rubber knife. See you there old bean.

Edit: I forgot to say which Fitness First. I am an idiot.

How much is it for non members?
Between £12 and £14 I can't quite remember. It's well worth it though. You be throughly shagged out at the end of it all.

Do you have to be a fitness first member to do the Krav Maga lessons? I'm eager to try
Nah. Just turn up, walk past reception. Then go down the steps towards the spinners hall.

I am a fat, idle Londoner who is only two weeks ahead of you. I work out in Waterloo though (its only £20 a month)

Where precisely around Waterloo is this £20 a month gym you talk of?
Imagination Street
Actually, Gym Group was offering £15 a month to members who joined the newest branch in Waterloo back in October. I know for the reason that I joined and never went (ended up with Virgin). I imagine it's £20-25 in most places in London now as well as a one-off joining fee at some.

Well fuck. I pay £50 every month for a membership at some beaten down spot in East London... :confident:
I paid £200 upfront for a full year for Fitness 4 Less by Cambridge Heath station, as a result you could possibly deem that if it's in close proximity to you?

The weight room is frenzied during peak times and a lot of the apparatus has seen better days. It has a pretty cool vibe, full of activity and lots of familiar faces. I can't really grumble for £200 for a whole year. Some mornings I am able to head along at 8am and it's flat quiet. Weekends aren't bad either.

ha. TheGym or Fitness4less. I can only articulate for thegym which has worked out perfectly, no contract but forget about sticking to your 1h exercises on free weights on a monday evening. I find 8am weekdays are best.
This sounds identical to Fitness4Less. I don't really have a any more, I just do whatsoever is free at the time. It is only about 2 mins walk from my house so I don't mind if I have to linger around for equipment.
