I just wanted to say I love the label of this thread. If I wasn't a bad rival I'd be up for it!
I try to go running a few times a week already when I'm not hungover or think I'll die from the heat.
EDIT: I'm 24/M. Not very fit, but want to be, if that helps.

I have no idea. There's some stuff on the Britannia about what it has. As for running. I've tried Couch to 5k a few times and something continuously gets in the way of the schedule, now I just go out and run up the inland waterway and turn around when I feel like it. I don't commonly run more than 4k or so at a time.
Another choice is always get yourself a bike, cycle to work and get an app like http://strava.com and force to yourself go quicker each day. You'll lose loads of weight (fat) and next gain some of it back (muscle) while in general getting in top shape. Thats the antisocial choice of course but it works for me as I could not be arsed to go to the gym, ever.
I live between Old Street & Shoreditch park. Could do with exercise, don't as it makes folks clammy and sound a bit I suggest getting a dog for a few reasons, they need walking or they shit in your house. This should bestow you motivation to take them out. Secondly, puppies make girls weak at the clunge. Thirdly, with all the new improved looking you, what shows commitment more than a dog? Ok, perhaps a child, but you get the point...
