I just got back into the gym following a few years of uberlazyness. I'd be well up for meeting for a workout if possible, I'm moving house in a little while so have to swop gyms anyway. I'm the laziest person that has ever lived so if I can do it, anybody can. I live out in Essex but work in central London and am constantly floating round the city etc. Would be enjoyable to have some workout buddies. 27yr old male btw.

There is an organised running troupe in Shoreditch. The the gym but good, communal exercise. http://www.rundemcrew.com/
> note we do not run a Tortoise Group at the East London session and we ask all of our runners to be competent to run at smallest amount 5 miles comfortably before joining us. have to work on that first. If I run a mile I'd pack up at the moment.
oh, sorry. Had just heard of it but wasn't aware of the stipulations. Good luck!

What time of day would you be wanting to gymnasium it up, and what kind of schedule do you have in mind?
Hey I don't have a routine in mind although I work 10-6 and can't do Tuesday/Thursday) so it'd be down to something you can manage but I was thinking the gym 2 days and conceivably a day of cardio or something?

It's really down to what time you have and what you're wanting to get out of it.

What is your schedule like?

Similar schedule to you. Did SL for 6 months or so a year or two back, but the lazy overcame me. Ideally I'd want to go on with that
By sl do you mean strong lifts? How effectual was it for you?
Very, kept my diet good, cut out drinking and lost fat + gained muscle.

Then lost my gym buddy, kept it going for a period but went back to pitiable diet and booze.. Now back to square one, only fatter. I tell myself there is a little muscle beneath, however that's a lie

Though I have lost 2 stone from my top of fat bastardry through improving the my diet I want to get back to the gyming, just need to break the preliminary manyana barrier.

Ah, I would absolutely be up for this but I'm on the isle of dogs and it's a right pest getting to Old street area. Would have been ready for boxing too
You haven't discovered the joys of the 135 bus?! That bad boy is greatly entertaining, a little scary and occasionally very smelly... Lol

I work on Scrutton Street.

Ex-major weight loser (lost 40lbs from gym plus diet), looking to get the motivation back. Open to gyming 2 nights a week if you're up for it. ordinarily cardio so far, but looking to move into weight training.

I'm competitive, fat and Irish. :confident:

Shoreditch Works, or elsewhere?

I am a fat, idle Londoner who is only two weeks ahead of you. I work out in Waterloo though (its only £20 a month)

Where precisely around Waterloo is this £20 a month gym you talk of?
Imagination Street

I usually do a 5-10k run on a saturday if that helps although I'm just south of the river.
